Golf is a historically white sport. Some in St. Louis are trying to change that.

All through high school, Anandra put in the hours, practicing with any instructor she could find. She was aided by efforts, in the St. Louis region and across the country, that aim to draw more youngsters — especially those from underrepresented groups — to a sport that is still trying to turn around a reputation for exclusivity.
