media bias rating is Right.

TheBlaze bias rating is Right. TheBlaze was founded by conservative talk radio personality and entrepreneur Glenn Beck. TheBlaze's radio and television programs, formerly known as GBTV, have been described as having a conservative libertarian format. As of April 2017, a vast majority of the more than 7,000 AllSides users who voted agree with this rating. These results are consistent with an earlier majority of nearly 4,000 community members who agreed with our AllSides Bias Rating™ for TheBlaze, giving us high confidence in this rating. The platform received an average bias rating of 32.2 from 158 different voters who disagreed with a Right rating, falling in the range of a lean right bias. This vote is not enough, however, to change its rating from Right until more research is done.

The AllSides Media Bias Rating reflects the average judgment of the American people.

The AllSides Media Bias RatingTM reflects the average judgment of the American people. We don't use a convoluted mathematical or artificial intelligence model, but instead have regular people representing the broad spectrum of Americans blindly rate the bias of articles. That produces a fair, verifiable bias rating.

This media bias rating was determined using the following levels of bias verification.

Basis of Rating:

Blind Survey
Third Party Data
Community Feedback
Editorial Review
Secondary Research

Confidence Level:

Unless otherwise noted, this bias rating refers only to news articles on their web site, not from opinion pieces or what is broadcasted on TV or radio. The opinion writers from the same media source may have different bias ratings, so individual writers often are rated separately.
