An independent review by an AllSides staffer concluded that the Boston Globe should be moved from Lean Left to Left rating, due to story choice that consistently favors progressive and/or left-wing stances and a frequent lack of including dissenting voices or conservative perspectives in political news stories.
As of February 16, 2018 and over 1400 votes, the majority of the AllSides community continues to agree with our initial media bias rating for The Boston Globe as Lean Left.
