OKLAHOMA CITY — A lengthy weather delay turned out to be a good thing for Jenks sophomore Avery Arant on Saturday Arant, 15, the defending 6A state champion in No. 1 singles, wasn’t playing her best tennis when lightning and then rain halted play for three hours during her semifinal match against Heritage Hall’s Jasmine Crain at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.
