Five West Virginia middle school student-athletes have been banned from all future competitions after they protested the participation of a transgender student during their track and field competition. The five Lincoln Middle School students refused to compete against Becky Pepper-Jackson, a 13-year-old biological male who identifies as a transgender girl, during an April 18 shot put competition, according to a report.
