Millikan softball shuts out rival Lakewood, secures undefeated Moore League title

LAKEWOOD — The Millikan softball team put an exclamation point on their fourth consecutive Moore League championship with a game-sealing defensive play at the plate in a hard-fought 1-0 win against Lakewood on Lisa Fernandez Field in Mayfair Park Wednesday night.
