WEST MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — Two siblings from North Carolina have stolen the hearts of thousands of viewers on the 21 season of American Idol, what most people don’t know is that Max and Laela Dasher have roots here in West Monroe, La. The siblings were born and raised in West Monroe until 2018, when they moved to North Carolina. Max and Laela began their musical journey at Whites Ferry Road Church in West Monroe and expanded their talents across the state of Louisiana attending bluegrass festivals and music competitions....
