American Dream mall evacuated on Black Friday due to bomb threat, Gov. Murphy says EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (WABC) -- The American Dream mall in East Rutherford has been evacuated on Black Friday due to a bomb threat. Gov. Phil Murphy said around 9 a.m. that New Jersey State Police are investigating the threat. All customers, tenants and employees were asked to evacuate the building out of an abundance of caution.
