College basketball powers Kansas, Illinois to play exhibition benefiting Maui fire relief efforts

The Kansas and Illinois men’s basketball teams are set to play a charity exhibition game benefiting relief efforts for the devastating Maui wildfires, the schools announced Friday. The game, which had originally been planned as a closed scrimmage, will be played on Oct. 29 at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Ill., at noon Hawaii time.
