Nick Homer had three goals, three assists and two ground balls as third-seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood knocked off seventh-seeded Cranford 17-1 in the quarterfinals of the Union County Tournament in Scotch Plains.
Aidan Fairweather also had a hat trick and two ground balls and Ryan Mauer scored a goal, scooped 11 ground balls and won all 14 faceoffs he took.
