Astros' José Urquidy declares elbow fine, hopes to throw next week

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Astros starter José Urquidy, who will start the season on the injured list, said imaging on his right elbow showed his ligament is “fine” and he hopes to resume throwing next week. Urquidy left his outing in a minor league game last Friday after feeling tightness in his forearm. He returned to Houston to be evaluated by team doctors over the weekend.
