MSU, U-M women’s teams make NCAA tournament

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — College basketball fans in West Michigan have even more to root for. Both Michigan and Michigan State women’s basketball secured bids for the NCAA tournament. The Spartans are a 9-seed and will play 8-seed North Carolina to start the tournament. Michigan State’s first two rounds will be at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina. The Wolverines are also a 9-seed and will start their run against 8-seed Kansas. Michigan’s first two rounds will be in Los Angeles at USC. Michigan State is 22-8 overall,...
