Wichita City Council reinstates campaign finance ordinance

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - In a 7-0 vote on Tuesday, the Wichita City Council reinstated an ordinance that allows corporations and limited liability companies -- LLCs -- to contribute up to $500 in city elections per election cycle. Early this year, the Council voted to amend the city code, taking away the ability for LLCs to donate to candidates.
