SEATTLE (AP) — George Kirby struck out a career-high 12 batters in seven scoreless innings, Ty France hit a two-run homer and the Seattle Mariners beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-1 on Saturday night. Kirby (3-2) gave up two hits, recorded eight of his first nine outs via strikeout and retired his final 14 batters.
