The 36-year-old homered and doubled in Triple-A El Paso’s 7-4 win on Friday at Tacoma as the Chihuahuas split a doubleheader. El Paso dropped a 3-2 decision in the second seven-inning game. Solano is hitting .313/.429/.563 with two extra-base hits in five games since signing a minor league deal. He played seven innings at first base on Friday.
