An 18-game regular season, a Super Bowl on the day before Presidents’ Day, and more international games were topics that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell touched upon during an appearance Friday on “The Pat McAfee Show.” “I think we’re good at 17 now,” Goodell said of the number of games in the NFL season since the 2021 season. “But, listen, we’re looking at how we continue. I’m not a fan of the preseason. ... “The reality is, I think I’d rather replace a preseason game with a regular-season game any day....
