Arlington Bowie High School on lockdown; police investigate ‘incident’ outside campus

Bowie High School has been placed on lockdown as authorities respond to reports of an incident, Arlington police said in a social media post Wednesday.

The Arlington Independent School District announced the campus remains on lockdown and students will not be dismissed on time.

Officers are at the scene investigating an incident outside of the campus, police said in a post on X at 3:09 p.m.
