Storms, rising sea levels contribute to roadway vulnerability in N.H.

Federal, state, and local officials will meet up Monday on New Hampshire’s coastline, at Rye Harbor State Park, to celebrate a $20 million federal grant to reconstruct seawalls along Route 1A, where nor’easters have damaged roads and disrupted travel in recent years.
