Starting 5: Louisville Cardinals star sets top-10 mark in NCAA history, world this season

Louisville track & field junior thrower Jayden Ulrich recently recorded the eighth-farthest discus toss in NCAA history at the Pacific Coast Invitational. Ulrich, who was an Illinois state champion in the shot put and discus, won the event with an NCAA-season-leading mark of 210 feet, 11 inches. Her toss ranks ninth in the world this season. Ulrich won ACC Women's Field Athlete of the Week three times during the most recent indoor season. She won the shot put at the ACC Indoor Championships in February. Pat Kelsey effect:U of L...
