Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope reportedly hires Cody Fueger as first assistant

LEXINGTON — New Kentucky basketball coach Mark Pope has reportedly hired his first assistant. And it's a familiar face. Cody Fueger, who has worked for Pope at Utah Valley and BYU, reportedly will be one of UK's assistants for the 2024-25 season. News of Fueger's hire was first reported Wednesday evening by Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio.
