Patriots bring in Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. for dinner and an official workout

Michael Penix Jr. is the latest college signal-caller to sit down with the Patriots. A source confirmed to the Globe that the quarterback is set to have dinner with the Patriots on Monday night, followed by an official visit on Tuesday. This past season at Washington, Penix completed 65 percent of his passes for 4,903 yards, to go along with 36 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The 6-foot-2-inch, 216-pounder led the Huskies to the national championship game and a 14-1 record.
