Spartans, Wolverines, Broncos to compete in NCAA hockey tournament

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — March Madness isn’t over in Michigan yet.
The NCAA hockey tournament starts Friday and Michigan State, University of Michigan and Western Michigan are all dancing.
Michigan State was a given after winning the Big Ten tournament championship. The Spartans earned the 4th-overall seed and the top seed in the Maryland Heights region. They open it against Western Michigan.
The Wolverines are also in the Maryland Heights regional and will start the tournament against North Dakota.
