Foxboro moves forward with plans to buy, revamp church

FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — The town of Foxboro is moving forward with plans to transform a church into a brand new community center. In an email to 12 News, spokesperson Maura Buckley confirmed that the town’s $2.5 million bid was accepted for the purchase of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
