For the second time in its history, Old Dominion’s men’s basketball program is bringing home one of its own to lead the program. Maryland assistant coach Mike Jones, a former head coach at renowned DeMatha Catholic in suburban Washington, D.C., and an ex-Virginia Tech assistant will succeed the retiring Jeff Jones as the Monarchs’ head coach, sources said Thursday.
