Kyle Lowry to join hometown 76ers after buyout

NBA guard Kyle Lowry is returning to his hometown. The Pennsylvania native is set to join the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers will be the guard’s third team this season. The Miami Heat traded him to the Charlotte Hornets in January for a deal that brought Terry Rozier to South Beach. Lowry did not suit up for Charlotte, opting to sit out until after Thursday’s trade deadline.
