Man shot, killed by Springville police in shootout; 1 officer injured

SPRINGVILLE — A man was shot and killed by police Sunday morning after shooting at officers who were initially responding to a report of shots fired earlier in the morning, Springville police say. Police were dispatched to a report of shots fired near 1500 West and 150 North shortly before 5 a.m., according to Springville Police Lt. Warren Foster.
