Man shot dead on Atlantic City boardwalk

A man was shot dead on the Atlantic City boardwalk early Saturday morning, authorities said. Atlantic City police responded to a report of a man who was shot around the 1900 block of the boardwalk, near the Johnny Rockets restaurant and Bally’s Casino, around 2 a.m., according to the county prosecutor’s office.
