High school softball: Hornets, Cavs square off in CCC tourney on Monday

SALISBURY — Salisbury’s softball team finished third in the Central Carolina Conference and will be at home on Monday for the opening round of the conference tournament. Sixth-seeded North Rowan (3-10, 2-8) will provide the opposition for the Hornets (11-9, 9-3), Salisbury finished the regular season with Thursday’s 4-2 loss to Robinson.
