UMD softball drops two games to Winona State

ROCHESTER — Minnesota Duluth softball stumbled out of the gate to begin the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference season on Monday, dropping both ends of a doubleheader to Winona State, 7-2 and 3-2. The games, held under cover at Rochester Community and Technical College, were UMD's first contests since they concluded their spring trip to Florida on March 10, more than two weeks ago.
