LONG ISLAND, NY — The charge against a nurse who was accused of violently slamming a newborn infant onto a bed at Good Samaritan University Hospital has been dismissed after an expert for the Suffolk County District Attorney's office declined to testify her actions caused any injury, Newsday reported.
