As City2's season starts Sunday, John Klein looks to build on 13-goal rookie season

In his first year as a professional soccer player, John Klein did pretty well. The St. Louis University grad had a team-high 13 goals and four assists for St. Louis City2 in MLS Next Pro. Now, with City2’s 2024 season kicking off Sunday, he’s looking for more. “For me, it’s continuing to develop my game,” Klein said. “I’ve looked at some film in the offseason with the staff, and for me it’s continuing to be a threat in the offensive half, creating havoc, creating goal-scoring chances.
