Jordan Pope poured in a career-high 29 points, but Oregon State couldn’t overcome a first-half scoring drought as Washington beat the Beavers 79-72 in Seattle. The Huskies took control with a 16-0 run over a five-minute stretch of the first half. Oregon State, competitive in both games during its Washington road trip, had chances during the second half, but couldn’t find a consistent scoring option aside from Pope or Tyler Bilodeau.
