Kobe Bryant statue unveiling date announced by Los Angeles Lakers

LOS ANGELES -- A bronze statue of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant will be unveiled outside of the team’s home Crypto.com arena in Feb. 2024, the Lakers announced Thursday. Bryant, who died in a helicopter accident on Jan. 26, 2020, with his daughter, Gianna, and seven others, will be posthumously honored with his statue on Feb. 8, 2024.
