Fauci Claimed His Approach From The Beginning Was To ‘Keep An Open Mind’ On Lab-Leak Theory

White House senior medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci said he was always open to the possibility that the COVID-19 pandemic originated in a lab.

Fauci claimed he had “kept an open mind” on the lab-leak theory from the beginning, but had focused on the likelihood that the virus originated from a natural occurrence on “CBS This Morning” Wednesday. He said it is a “distortion” to claim the idea that the virus originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) was “suppressed.”
