Just the News Rated Lean Right in October 2023 Independent Review

An October 2023 Independent Review of Just The News returned an AllSides Media Bias Rating™ of Lean Right.

At the time of review, an AllSides reviewer found the main form of bias present in Just The News' coverage to be story choice bias. Charged forms of bias like sensationalism appeared to be mostly absent from the site's content, which focuses on news coverage. However stories published by Just The News seemed to appeal more to readers on the right.

Just The News is a news website that was founded in 2020 by journalist John Solomon. According to Wikipedia before founding Just The News, Solomon has worked for Associated Press, Washington Post, The Hill, Washington Times, and contributed to Fox News.

Just The News' "About Us" page reads:

According to its website, Just The News is based in Washington D.C. and owned by Bentley Media Group LLC., a company founded and owned by Solomon himself.
