Biden Moving Up Vaccine Eligibility Date to April 19th

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden is to announce that he is shaving about two weeks off of his May 1 deadline for states to make all adults eligible for COVID-19 vaccines, moving the eligibility date to April 19th. Biden is also expected to announce that the United States has administered 150 million COVID-19 vaccine doses, putting the president on track to meet or exceed his goal of administering 200 million doses in his first 100 days in office. Biden will make the announcement at the White House on Tuesday following a visit to a vaccination site in Virginia.
