Man dies after being partially ejected from van on I-65 in Jefferson County

A man was killed Thursday morning after he was partially ejected from the van he was driving as it overturned and struck a tree on I-65 in Jefferson County, authorities said. Brandon R. Watson, 35, of Madison, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle wreck around 7:51 a.m., said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Vu Quang.
