Why Xcel is Taking Days to Restore Power Two days after extremely high winds descended on Colorado’s Interstate 25 corridor, many Xcel Energy customers still do not have electricity.As of 1:00 p.m. today, April 8, the utility’s outage map indicated 41,073 customers are affected by 1,038 outages.
