Jeff Lynne’s ELO announces farewell tour with stop in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Not to bring anyone down, but the 1970s hit makers Electric Light Orchestra announced their farewell tour Monday, including a show in Portland. The band, now known as Jeff Lynne’s ELO following several offshoots by former ELO members, was a radio charts mainstay through the 70s and 80s with huge songs like Evil Woman, Mr. Blue Sky and Telephone Line, however, the band never reached number one.
