Tornadoes Touch Down in Jefferson, Randolph Counties –

(Statewide) – Parts of Indiana were rocked by nasty weather Thursday. Several tornadoes touched down in Jefferson County around 2 p.m. Homes were flattened in Hanover and Brooksburg, with trees and power lines downed throughout the area. Jefferson County residents are asked to contact Indiana 211 to report storm damage. To help establish a comprehensive assessment of damage, residents can call 211 or visit the Indiana 211 website.
