Two more legal opinions — one from Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador and a second from an outside law firm — have cast more doubt on the University of Idaho’s planned purchase of the University of Phoenix, kindling calls from lawmakers to review or nix the $550 million deal. The university’s Board of Regents, which is also the State Board of Education, approved the deal to create a nonprofit entity, Four Three Education, to purchase the assets of the University of Phoenix.
