Storm begins to soak parts of Southern California

The latest atmospheric river began soaking areas of Southern California with heavy rain Monday morning, although some communities had yet to see any significant precipitation. Rain totals for metro Los Angeles were generally under one inch as of 6 a.m. with over an inch along coastal Ventura County.
