Raw Ground Beef Shipped To MI Recalled For Possible E. Coli

MICHIGAN — Nearly 7,000 pounds of raw ground beef is being recalled from multiple Midwestern states, including Michigan, because of potential E. coli contamination, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. Valley Meats, based in Coal Valley Illinois, is recalling 6,768 pounds of raw ground beef products shipped to distributors in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Michigan, according to the news release.
