Canada is putting another nail in the combustion engine’s coffin by announcing a zero-emission mandate. The final version of the Electric Vehicle Availability Standard has been published this week, and it includes a sales ban on new cars that generate emissions from 2035. Before that happens, automakers active in Canada will have to comply with other regulations.
