Gov. Whitmer signs final bill in Michigan’s Reproductive Health Act
LANSING, Mich. (WNDU) - Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has signed the final piece of the state’s Reproductive Health Act (RHA) into law. The final bill, which was signed by Whitmer on Monday morning, will repeal Michigan’s ban on insurance coverage for abortion without purchase of a separate rider, and implements other protections for doctors and patients.
