Cedar Rapids wins bid for 3A-4A state baseball

BOONE — The Class 3A and 4A site for the 2024 Iowa High School State Baseball Tournament will be Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids, following approval by the IHSAA board. The 5,300-seat home of the Cedar Rapids Kernels was selected through a summer bidding process. The one-year agreement follows three seasons at Duane Banks Field in Iowa City for the larger school classes.
