Oregon Health Plan available for more people, regardless of citizenship status
As of Monday, Oregon Health Plan (OHP) coverage is available to people of any age who meet eligibility criteria, regardless of immigration status. Some 40,000 individuals who were on the Citizenship Waived Medical Program, which provides emergency coverage for non-citizens, were automatically moved to OHP as of July 1 and state health officials are notifying them of coverage changes.
