Future of electric vehicle industry goal of University of Michigan state partnership
ANN ARBOR, MI - The University of Michigan is one of multiple partners with the state on a global semiconductor center to address worldwide computer chip shortages. The Semiconductor Talent and Automotive Research initiative, or STAR, is a collaboration between the university, semiconductor company KLA, Belgium-based innovator imec, Washtenaw Community College, General Motors and the Michigan Economic Development Corp.
