Supreme Court Action Expected in Abortion-Pill Case

The Supreme Court is expected to issue an order as soon as Wednesday that could determine the availability of the widely used abortion pill mifepristone for at least the next several months.
The justices are considering emergency appeals from the Biden administration and Danco Laboratories LLC, the brand-name manufacturer of the pill, to keep the drug on the market during ongoing litigation over its approval more than 20 years ago by the Food and Drug Administration.
