West Virginia lawmaker leaves Democrats for GOP

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Republican supermajority in West Virginia’s House of Delegates became more lopsided Monday after Del. Elliott Pritt switched from the Democratic Party, the state’s GOP leader said.
